Master's qualification notice

Announcement for the Qualification Exam for Master's degree students entering the 1st semester of 2024.

Activity Report

Students governed by Standards 4 and 5 must submit the half-yearly activity report. Students governed by Standard 3 must submit the annual report. The deadline for submitting the report is 28/02/2025.

Enrollment Period

Enrollment in subjects: from 06/01 to 19/01/2025. Students who are not going to enroll in subjects must complete the "Monitoring Enrollment".

Special Students

Special students are those enrolled only in isolated subjects without any connection to any USP Postgraduate Program. They will be entitled to a certificate of approval in the subjects taken.

FAQ

In any of the courses, in exceptional and duly justified cases, students may request an extension of the deadline for a maximum period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days.

The student must submit the request (with approval from the advisor) via the Janus System – Requests menu. The request will be analyzed by the Program Coordinating Committee (CCP), and if granted, the deadline will be registered in the student’s records.

The Qualifying Exam is required for Master’s, Doctorate and Direct Doctorate courses.

If the student misses the date for including follow-up enrollment, he/she must request enrollment via the form via the Janus System – requests menu, attaching the “Follow-up enrollment” form.
